M Countdown Episode 879

Another music show with big surprises. First Gyubin the soloist performs her comeback song. Then Say My Name with Hitomi previously of IzOne comeback with “ShaLala”. Jumping to the later in the episode with some more solo surprises, Yeji from Itzy debuts as a soloist with “Air” and Seulgi from Red Velvet has a comeback with “Baby, Not Baby”. They even get interviewed together. Final surprise, KiiiKiii performs “I Do Me” again and competes against Hearts2Hearts “The Chase”. Both of these ggs will debut in early 2025 and they’ve already been described as rivals. KiiiKiii hasn’t debuted yet but Starship has decided to perform on M Countdown, Music Bank, Show Music Core, and Inkigayo, but not on The Show or Show Champion. But this M countdown episode was one of the best of 2025.
