Music Bank continued with the big surprises of the music show week. First Genblue, a Taiwanese K-pop gg performed 1 song. Jumping forward, the solo rivals Yeji from Itzy and Seulgi from Red Velvet performed their songs “Air” and “Baby, Not Baby” respectively. The super rookie rivals KiiiKiii and Hearts2Hearts performed “I Do Me” and “The Chase” respectively. These 2 groups have been battling on music shows all month and the future looks bright for fifth gen ggs. Then Say My Name had a comeback with “ShaLala”. Say My Name has Hitomi who used to be in Izone so look for collabs with former Izone members on this show. The last two songs were Le Sserafim comeback with “Hot” and “Come Over”. The interview was particularly entertaining since Eunchae from Le Sserafim used to be MC (Bank President). Finally in a huge surprise Illit performed their Korean version of “Almond Chocolate”. This was originally a Japanese song but has been converted to Korean and made a Korean comeback. First that makes 2 Hybe ggs performing on 1 music show. Also, Minju from Illit performed and MC’ed (Bank President). Finally, with Say My Name and Hitomi comeback on Wed with “ShaLala”, will the Illit song “Almond Chocolate” Korean version propel both songs to win?
